Occupational Safety and Health (OHS) is an important aspect in controlling all risks that exist in the company's operations so that the application of OHS in the workplace can minimize the risk of work accidents in every production process activity. The neglect factor is proven to result in a high level of work accidents in shipyards. Therefore, during the implementation of construction work is required to implement the Occupational Safety and Health system properly. This study aims to determine the potential hazards of hydrotest and flange management workers. The method used in this research is the Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Determining Control (HIRADC) method. From the company's history data in January - June of 2024, there were 54 work accidents, it was found that this accident was caused by the lack of awareness of workers of the importance of occupational health and safety in the work environment. Based on work accident data, the rate of work accidents increases due to higher production targets and tight deadlines that can cause additional pressure on workers, which can lead to unsafe acts or lack of attention to safety. analysis using the HIRADC method, hydrotest and flange management work has 20 work steps that are still at risk. The calculation is obtained from the risk of work accidents in the initial control percentage table, the risk assessment identification where there are 4 high risks, 10 moderate risks, and 6 low risks, divided by the number of jobs (20 jobs) and multiplied by 100% to get an accurate percentage. Risk control recommendations can be recommended to unravel potential hazards. So that workers can avoid unwanted incidents. Based on observations, the company has a work instruction procedure but supervision must still be carried out by the supervisor, foreman and safety itself. This study shows that the HIRADC method is effective in identifying and assessing occupational safety and health risks in hydrotest and flange management activities. With the implementation of appropriate controls, the risk of accidents and occupational diseases can be reduced.
