Abstract
Datuak Mudo Restaurant previously promoted its products using only flat designs such as banners, photos, and regular posts on social media platforms like Instagram, and some vlogs from visitors that were still less up-to-date and effective. They also lacked social media platforms like YouTube and TikTok, and lacked an official and comprehensive promotional video about Datuak Mudo Restaurant. To increase customer base, several promotional methods need to be implemented. One of these methods is creating a promotional video. The video was designed using the Luther-Sutopo method, with several recording devices and supporting software. The video was analyzed using the EPIC model to determine its effectiveness as a promotional medium. Based on the analysis, the video was found to be highly effective as a promotional medium based on the EPIC scale.
