ANALISIS SOUND EFFECT DAN FOLEY ARTIST TERHADAP PENYAMPAIAN CERITA DALAM ANIMASI “FICUSIA”

Abstract

This study analyzes the role of sound effects and foley artists in enhancing storytelling in the animated film Ficusia. The primary focus is to explore how these audio elements contribute to the emotional and narrative depth of the animation. By using a qualitative approach, the research identifies key sound effects, such as ambient sounds, impact sounds, and fantasy sound cues, as well as the role of foley artists in creating realistic audio experiences. Data was gathered through observation of critical scenes and interviews with sound professionals involved in the film’s production. The findings highlight how sound effects and foley techniques are intricately synchronized with the visual elements to amplify emotional responses, making the audience more immersed in the story. The study concludes that sound effects and foley are not just technical additions but essential narrative tools that support the film's thematic exploration of magic, nature, and personal growth.
