RANCANG BANGUN APLIKASI TRACK-IT MANAGEMENT ASSET BERBASIS WEB

Abstract

In the era of rapid technological advancement, it is crucial for businesses, industries, researchers, and individuals to leverage the most advanced tools and solutions to remain competitive and support sustainable growth. PT. McDermott Indonesia (PTMI), a subsidiary of McDermott Incorporated, faces significant challenges in managing company assets such as laptops, computers, and mobile phones used by over 2,000 employees. The current manual management system, relying on physical documents and Microsoft Excel, leads to inefficiencies in data recording and sorting, consuming valuable time for HR and asset management staff, and has a negative environmental impact due to paper usage. To address these issues, PT. McDermott Indonesia, in collaboration with the author, has successfully produced a web-based application using the waterfall method called "Track-It Management Asset Web-Based Application". This application aims to replace existing manual records and is expected to simplify the process of data collection or asset management in the company.
