Abstract

This study aims to redesign the Sociolla website interface by applying WCAG 2.2 criteria to support accessibility for color-blind users. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with a Design Thinking approach, tested using WAVE, color luminance calculation, and usability testing with 5 respondents. The WAVE evaluation showed that all prototype pages achieved 0 errors and 0 contrast errors, with AIM scores of 9.8-10. Color luminance calculations confirmed all color combinations met WCAG 2.2 Level AA standards. Usability testing results showed an increase in task success rate from 63.3% on the original website to 96.7% on the prototype, with average completion time decreasing from 32.6 seconds to 14.7 seconds. This study indicates that WCAG 2.2 criteria empirically improves accessibility for color-blind users. Limitations include a limited number of respondents and a static prototype. Future research is recommended to test with more respondents and develop a fully functional website.
