Sistem Pengajuan Cuti Dan Izin Berbasis Laravel Untuk Digitalisasi Proses Administrasi Karyawan Di PT XYZ

Abstract

This application system for leave and permits, grounded in Laravel, was created to enhance the employee management workflow at PT XYZ. Prior to this system's introduction, applications were processed manually using paper forms and spreadsheets, leading to multiple operational challenges. Such manual methods complicated the ability of employees and management to keep track of application statuses. With this new system, employees can now register and submit requests for leave and permits electronically, thus improving communication among staff, managers, and the human resources team. The development of this system utilized thePrototyping approach and was constructed utilizing the Laravel PHP framework, with a MySQL database backing it. Additionally, the system incorporates HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create an efficient user interface. Functional assessments performed with the Black-Box technique indicate that all essential features within the system operate in accordance with the outlined specifications. These assessments confirm the digital submission form and role authentication system's functionality has been validated successfully without any technical issues. The system enables application information to be recorded digitally via a well-organized database, supporting the monitoring of leave and permit history. The launch of this web-based application system has streamlined the administrative tasks at PT XYZ and improved the handling of employee leave and permit information.
