Abstract
McDermott is a leading provider of engineering and construction solutions in the energy industry. They provide infrastructure solutions to transform oil and gas responsibly. The warehouse management system is a web-based application used to record MTR, MIR documents, record Stock on Pipe items, transmitall MCG to Office and transmitall Office to MCG. MTR, MIR documents are incomplete so that employees have difficulty finding items to be issued (Laydown material transfer to Shop / Erection), while for Stock on Pipe data it can be said that it is still less effective, where everything is still done manually starting from data collection which is carried out by recording pipe data and then importing data into Microsoft Excel and also making it difficult for employees to find out the location of items accurately. data collection is relatively long, and the form of data collection is relatively long, relatively long data collection, and the form of Stock on Pipe and transmitall reports made in the form of hardcopy which can cause errors in data recording, make it difficult to search for data and can be feared for the loss of Stock on Pipe and transmitall data. The method used in building this system uses the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) approach with the waterfall method. This method uses a systematic and sequential approach in which the stages begin with analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. This system was built using the PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) programming language and as a database using Mysql. The development carried out successfully implemented all planned functional and non-functional requirements, and by running black box testing, all these needs function properly. The application of this system simplifies the work process by assisting in validating data, accurately locating items, helping to do document reporting and helping to do stock on pipes, thus helping users in the process.
