Analisis Efektivitas Penggunaan Media Audio Pada Animasi "Green Tourism"

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using audio media in the short animation "Green Tourism." The animation employs a pop-up book visual concept, illustrating sustainable tourism principles. The audio media, including foley techniques and voice-over, are designed to support the storyline and evoke emotions in the audience. A descriptive quantitative approach was used, following the Villamil-Molina development stages: development, pre-production, production, post-production, and delivery. Results indicate that audio media in "Green Tourism" effectively supports the narrative, builds emotions, and enhances viewer comprehension of the conveyed message. Testing with 30 students from Politeknik Negeri Batam revealed that 91.3% of respondents found the audio media highly helpful in delivering the message. This study concludes that audio media significantly enriches the viewing experience and educates the public about the importance of sustainable tourism.
