Abstract
Airbus A320 aircraft have a Brake system this component plays an important role in flight safety and comfort, Passengers will feel calm and comfortable when the plane lands perfectly.[1] The fan on the Brake component plays a role in helping maintain the temperature when the aircraft breaks if the Brake overheats, a warning will appear on the ecam (Electronic Centralised Aircraft Monitor) and Brake Fan turn on. Brake Fan Temperature it self has a limitation of 300 ° C, overheated Brake should not taxi because it can cause Fire on the Overheated Brake, Monitoring the temperature of the Brake System is one of the key aspects in maintaining the safety of A320 aircraft operations. Proper temperature indication is very important to ensure the performance of the braking system is within safe limits, so on the A320 aircraft there is the name Cooling Fan which functions to reduce the hot temperature of the Brake on the aircraft quickly. The problem that occurs is that the temperature of the fan brake increases so that it exceeds the predetermined limitation limit. The step in solving this problem is troubleshooting and discussing it with the engineer and mechanic. After troubleshooting, cooling and housing the Fan Brake System has a problem or is damaged, the solution to this problem is to replace the components which refer to the AMM (Aircraft Maintenance Manual). The limitation that exists when the Fan Brake is no Operate is 320oC, after replacing components and carrying out a Test Flight, the replaced components work normaly with temperature of 105oC.
