Abstract

The development of the world of aviation in recent years has progressed very rapidly. This final report provides information on aircraft maintenance and repair which is carried out so that the aircraft can be said to be airworthy. Airworthy is conform to type design and safe for flight. One of the most frequently encountered malfunctions on the Airbus A320-200CEO aircraft is the air conditioning pack. The function of the air conditioning pack system is to maintain pressure, temperature and freshness of air in the cockpit and cabin. The methodology used is qualitative by collecting data from the field in the form of finding problem solving, field discussions, replacing components, and access to Lion Air Group's maintenance record platform (e-MRO and ICT). The data is then analyzed using the FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) method and fishbone diagrams so that all causes and solutions to this problem can be clearly sorted and described. This final report found that the cause of this system failure was the occurrence of damage to the pack flow control valve (23hb) followed by the temperature sensor (12hh) and bypass valve (10hh). It is recommended to perform the Built-in Test (BITE) when finding problems related to the air pack regul 1 fault at the first opportunity to be able to take further action immediately. Troubleshooting is carried out based on the Troubleshoot Manual (TSM), Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), in the form of checking the results of the BITE test and operational tests of related components followed by component replacement
