Abstract

This article explores the user experience (UX) of the Vocational Masterpiece Virtual Reality Game using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) method. VR technology is making a huge impact in the gaming industry, offering an immersive interactive experience. The Vocational Masterpiece game adopts a "low poly" art style and allows users to explore 10 islands, collecting innovations from the vocational community. This research aims to understand user interaction with the game and assess the quality of the user interface, identifying potential problems and opportunities for improvement. UX in the context of VR games includes aspects such as graphics and controls, as well as emotional reactions and values from user interactions. The UEQ method evaluates six dimensions: Attractiveness, Perspicuity, Efficiency, Dependability, Stimulation, and Novelty. The study involved 28 respondents aged 18-25 years old. Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed after users played the game for 10-15 minutes. Results showed positive ratings on all UEQ scales, with Attractiveness recording the highest score (mean 1.958), followed by Perspicuity (1.839), Efficiency (1.286), Dependability (1.634), Stimulation (1.589), and Novelty (0.884). The UEQ benchmark analysis shows that the Vocational Masterpiece game has good UX quality. These findings indicate that although the game provides a satisfying experience, efficiency and courage still need to be improved for further development to enhance the game's quality and prowess in the competitive market.
