RANCANG BANGUN APLIKASI PERPUSTAKAAN SMK MULTISTUDI HIGH SCHOOL BERBASIS WEB DENGAN INTEGRASI RFID

Abstract

The book borrowing system at SMK Multistudi High School Batam is currently still conducted manually, involving the recording of borrowing, returning, and violations such as late returns, damage, or loss of books. This existing system consumes time and is prone to input errors, which can affect administration and services. Therefore, a solution is needed to streamline each process in the book borrowing system. This study aims to develop a web-based book borrowing application integrated with Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology. The system is designed to make the book borrowing process faster, easier, and more accurate, while reducing the potential for input errors. With this application, students can borrow books more easily, while the administrative staff can manage borrowing, returning, and violation data more accurately. It is expected that the implementation of this system will provide significant benefits to SMK Multistudi High School Batam, both in speeding up the borrowing process and ensuring that recorded data is better organized, thus supporting the smooth operation of the school’s library.
