PERANCANGAN VIDEO CLUB TENIS MEJA SEBAGAI MEDIA INFORMASI DAN PENARIK MINAT PEMULA DI AXTON PPI CLUB

Abstract

The rapid development of multimedia technology has significantly influenced various fields, including sports. Video-based media has become an effective tool for delivering information in an engaging, interactive, and easily understandable way. Table tennis is a popular sport among the community; however, not all clubs are widely recognized, including Axton PPI Club, which has strong potential in athlete development and sports activities. The lack of effective and attractive information media has limited public awareness, particularly among beginners who are interested in joining. This study aims to design a video as an information medium and a tool to attract beginner interest in Axton PPI Club. The research employs a Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D model, which consists of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. The process includes identifying problems, analyzing target audiences, designing video concepts, producing and editing video content, and distributing the final product through digital platforms. The result of this study is an informative video that presents the club’s profile, facilities, training activities, and environment in an engaging audiovisual format. The use of video media is proven to enhance information delivery, making it more appealing and easier to understand for the audience. This video is expected to increase public awareness and attract beginners to participate in table tennis activities at Axton PPI Club.
