Evaluasi Postur Kerja Pada Pekerja Manual Handling Di Gudang PT ABC Menggunakan Rapid Entire Body Assesment (REBA) Dan Manual Handling Assessment Chart (MAC)

Abstract

A series of manual warehousing activities (manual handling) often involve non-ergonomic work postures. Musculoskeletal disorders often occur in workers with manual handling activities, especially in warehousing activities. This study aims to determine MSDs complaints in PT ABC workers. In the initial observation using Nordic Body Map analysis, it was found that manual handling workers experienced muscle complaints such as complaints in the neck, back, arms and legs. The population of this study was PT ABC workers consisting of 8 people. The sample was selected using a total sampling approach. The study was a quantitative descriptive statistic with data analysis techniques, namely, Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) with the Ergofellow 3.0 application and Manual Handling Assessment Chart (MAC) to determine the risks of manual handling carried out by workers. Data collection was carried out by observation and questionnaires. The results of data processing found that 100% of employees experienced MSDs complaints and had risks in body posture and manual handling activities. This is caused by the dynamic body position of workers and repetitive activities. Based on the Rapid Entire Body Assessment, 100% of workers were at moderate risk or required corrective action. Based on the Manual Handling Assessment Chart, five (62.5%) workers had a MAC score of Level 1 (0-4), meaning no corrective action was required. Meanwhile, three (37.5%) workers had a MAC score of Level 2 (5-12), meaning corrective action would be required in the future. Therefore,It is necessary to evaluate the activities and environment of manual handling workers in the company, such as conducting training on manual handling activities in the work environment to increase productivity.
