Abstract

Fabrication workshops involve high-risk activities, including welding, cutting, grinding, machine operation, material handling, and the movement of workers and visitors. This study designed a motion-graphic-based occupational safety induction video to explain hazards, personal protective equipment, safe working rules, emergency response, evacuation routes, and incident reporting in a concise and accessible format. The Multimedia Development Life Cycle method was applied through concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution. The final product is a 3-5 minute two-dimensional motion graphic video in Full HD MP4 format. User evaluation was dominated by Strongly Agree and Agree responses, while the overall feasibility score reached 91%, categorized as highly feasible. The video is intended as a supporting induction medium for new workers, interns, contractors, vendors, and visitors before entering the fabrication workshop.
