Studi Kasus Cabin Emergency Light Tidak Menyala Saat Tes Operasional Pada Pesawat A320

Abstract

Airbus A320 aircraft has back up lighting system during emergency situation or total loss of main electrical for evacuation purpose. Cabin Emergency Light has independent power source which enable to operate regardless malfunction of main electrical source. System activation by manual or automatic logic. Cabin Emergency Light system become essential for emergency situation and for safety aid during flight operation. Regular check of Cabin Emergency Light function is necessary to ensure A320 fleet in airworthy condition and safe for flight. Research background based on repetitive malfunction to Cabin Emergency Light system during operational test to Airbus A320 aircraft. Purpose of research is to identify technical & non-technical possible cause of repetitive malfunction reported by Pilot or Technician, therefore the research result can be used for strong reference for further evaluation and take preventive action to avoid similar malfunction in the future. Methodology used by researcher is study case to aircraft type A320 data from October 2023 until March 2024 collection of operational test of Cabin Emergency light result with problem all light does not come on or partially in Aircraft Maintenance Log Book & Daily Report during schedule & un-schedule maintenance check which aircraft A320 operator had.
