Abstract

Advances in information technology in the digital age have brought about major changes in various fields, including the education sector. One application of this technology can be seen in tutoring institutions, which play an important role in helping students improve their academic achievement. The XYZ Tutoring Center, located in Batu Aji, serves elementary to high school students. However, the registration process and learning activities at this institution are still carried out manually, causing a number of obstacles, such as inefficient data processing, difficulties in controlling student quotas, and the use of conventional learning methods. To overcome these problems, this study offers the development of a digital-based registration and learning information system by applying the design thinking method. This approach aims to ensure that the system designed truly meets the needs of users, both students and teachers. Through this system, the registration process can be carried out online, class quota availability can be monitored in real-time, and learning can be carried out in a hybrid manner, which is a combination of face-to-face and online classes. With this system, it is hoped that administrative efficiency, ease of access, and learning effectiveness at the XYZ Tutoring Center can be improved.
