Abstract

This study aims first, how the use of the training needs assessment tool method can help in identifying the training and development needs of fabrication department employees. second, how training and development proposals can be implemented to meet the needs of employees and the Company. This research uses quantitative methods with 17 respondents. The data collection methods used are questionnaires and observations. The data analysis technique uses the Training Need Assessment Tool (TNA-T) method by analyzing the gap between KKJ and KKP. The data processing used is the calculation of KKJ and KKP, analyzing the gap between KKJ and KKP. The results of this study indicate that by analyzing the gap between KKJ and KKP on knowledge, creativity, quality and work results get a difference of 2.05 to 2.5 that if KKJ-KKP>1 means training is needed then employees in the fabrication division at PT XYZ need to do training.
