Abstract
Intense competition in the global market dominated by the semiconductor industry
has prompted major companies, including one located in Batam, to adopt various
innovative measures to remain competitive and maintain their production quality. In
the semiconductor electronics industry, the use of various chemicals is essential for
the Integrated Circuit production process. The ESH department has the important
task of overseeing the use of chemicals in various stages of production. The
A2Plating process handles specific coatings to improve durability functions, the
failure analysis process utilizes acidic solutions to investigate preventing product
failures, the drainage process treats the waste generated. Accurate data collection
of chemical usage is important to ensure quality, monitor consumption, manage
waste in accordance with environmental standard safety protocols, Data collection
is still a manual Excel-based system for recording chemical usage. As a natural
response to help simplify the process of requesting and recording the use of
chemicals, related departments need an integrated system in real-time. Based on
these needs, the author will develop a system with the title “Website-Based Chemical
Usage Data Collection System Design”. This application is designed to facilitate the
process of submitting chemical requests, approving, and reporting usage, as well as
providing an effective notification system. The purpose of the application is to move
from a document-based system to an integrated digital platform by a system that
helps improve accuracy in data collection. A notification system was designed to
ensure no data updates are missed. Data collection of chemicals obtained and
chemicals used by production area can be done based on the access rights granted
so that there is no mixing of data from each area.

Sistem pendataan penggunaan bahan kimia berbasis website dirancang untuk mengotomatisasi dan mengintegrasikan proses permintaan, persetujuan, pelaporan, dan pemantauan penggunaan bahan kimia dalam industri semikonduktor di Batam, menggantikan sistem manual berbasis Excel dengan platform digital yang menyediakan akses real-time, notifikasi otomatis dan pemisahan data berdasarkan area produksi sehingga menjadi pusat sentralisasi data manajemen bahan kimia yang sebelumnya terpisah.
