PERANCANGAN MODEL 3D KAPAL KARGO TIPE BULK CARRIER SEBAGAI ASET MEDIA PENGENALAN BAGI KARYAWAN PEMULA PERUSAHAAN BONGKAR MUAT KAPAL

Abstract

Ship stevedoring companies require new employees who possess adequate visual understanding of the structure and components of cargo ships, particularly the Bulk Carrier type, which is the most widely operated dry bulk cargo vessel in Indonesian ports. However, visual, accurate, and easily comprehensible introductory media for new employees remains critically limited. This study aims to: (1) describe the process of designing a 3D model of a Bulk Carrier cargo ship using Blender software; (2) determine the feasibility level of the resulting 3D model based on the assessment of multimedia experts and naval architecture experts; and (3) determine the responses of new employees toward the 3D model-based introductory media asset developed in this study.
