Aplikasi Seamarket Sebagai Tempat Pelelangan Ikan Online berbasis Android

Abstract

Batam City is one of the cities in the Riau Islands Province of Indonesia with high potential for marine products. The limited number of infrastructure for fish auctions is a problem faced by fishermen in Batam City when selling fish and other marine products. The Seamarket application can be an alternative online media for fishermen and customers. This research aims to create a fish auction application as an alternative medium for fishermen to auction their fish catch at the market. With the online fish marketing business model, fishermen can reach a wider market and customers will also get information about fish quickly and accurately. The Seamarket application uses the waterfall development method, which is the most commonly used method at the application development stage. In this research, testing was carried out using the ISO 25010 model which tested three test characteristics, namely functional suitability, compatibility, and performance efficiency.
