Abstract
The Service Reservation System for UMKM Festival Stands in Batam City is a crucial element for simplifying access
to information and the reservation process, especially in the organization of festivals in this digital era. With
technological advancements, the need for systems that streamline the reservation and payment processes has become
increasingly essential. Barra New Management, a company operating in the Event Organizer industry, plays an
important role in festival organization by providing stands for companies or vendors to promote their products and
services. However, the reservation and service processes at Barra New Management, which are still carried out
manually, can hinder the smooth running of events, particularly for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM).
The absence of a database that comprehensively stores stand reservation data, along with the lack of an accessible
service system for UMKM, makes it difficult for them to obtain information such as stand prices and payment
procedures. This situation also burdens the workload of employees in the event organizer and finance departments,
which may eventually disrupt other tasks. To address these issues and enhance transparency and accountability in
service and reservation processes, the researcher developed a system using the waterfall method. This method
employs a systematic and sequential approach, starting from analysis, design, implementation, testing, and
maintenance. The system is built using the PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) programming language and MySQL as its
database.
