Abstract

This research focuses on redesigning the ScrapeToko website's interface and overall user experience by applying the User-Centered Design (UCD) method, aiming to resolve usability problems found through direct observation and user interviews. Four stages were carried out: exploring user needs, formulating system requirements, building design solutions, and testing the final prototype. Twelve internal users of ScrapeToko took part in the usability testing, completing five different task scenarios before rating the design through the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire. Every participant managed to finish all assigned tasks, achieving a full 100% completion rate. Meanwhile, the SUS assessment yielded an average score of 74.17, placing the redesign in the Good category and confirming that users generally found the prototype usable and satisfactory. In addition, the redesigned interface better accommodates user needs by presenting clearer visual hierarchy, more prominent price information, and a more organized layout. Nevertheless, several aspects, such as font size for price information and limiting the number of displayed products per page, remain potential areas for future improvement.
