Abstract
Landslides are a natural disaster that can potentially cause losses to communities and infrastructure, especially in residential areas with hilly topography. One mitigation effort that can be done is through the preparation of landslide susceptibility zoning maps. This study aims to compare the results of landslide susceptibility zoning based on Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) slope data and National Elevation Data (DEMNAS) using the Weighted Overlay method in Tiban Koperasi Housing, Batam City. The parameters used include slope, rainfall, soil type, geology, and land cover. The results show that DEMNAS based landslide susceptibility zoning produces a low susceptibility class area of 4.60 hectares, medium susceptibility of 5.71 hectares, and high susceptibility of 0.87 hectares. Meanwhile, UAV based zoning produces a low susceptibility class area of 2.25 hectares, medium susceptibility of 7.59 hectares, and high susceptibility of 1.34 hectares. Validation using actual landslide coordinate data shows that the landslide point is in the medium susceptibility class in the DEMNAS based zoning results, while in the UAV based zoning results it is in the high susceptibility class. The results of the study indicate that UAV data is able to represent topographic conditions in more detail, resulting in landslide susceptibility zones that are more in line with actual conditions in the field compared to DEMNAS.
