Pembuatan Video Animasi 3D Lagu Daerah Lancang Kuning Dengan Teknik Low Poly Dan Prinsip Timing

Abstract

Malay culture holds a rich heritage of traditions passed down through generations, one of which is expressed through regional folk songs. The song "Lancang Kuning" carries profound meaning, reflecting moral values and the wisdom of ancestors. In today's digital era, visual media such as 3D animation can serve as an effective tool for introducing and preserving cultural values among younger generations. This final project aims to design and produce a 3D animated video based on the traditional song "Lancang Kuning" using a simple and engaging visual approach, with two main objectives, applying color composition and low poly technique appropriately in the production of the 3D animated video and applying the timing principle in arranging the animation movement so that the movement of the character and objects can be more easily followed by children. The animation production process was carried out using the ADDIE development model, consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The result is a 3D animated video with a duration of 1 minute and 38 seconds, adapted to the original song and visually portraying the essence of Malay culture as expressed in the lyrics. Validation was conducted qualitatively through direct expert interviews. It is expected that this 3D animation can serve as a meaningful contribution to the preservation of local cultural values through creative media based on digital technology.
