Video Pelatihan Mesin Uji Tarik Wiring Harness Untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Karyawan

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of training video on wiring harness tensile testing machine in improving employee understanding at a Batam based multinational manufacturing company. The 3 minute 46 second training video was created using the Research & Development method with the Villamil-Molina development model, which consists of 5 stages, including Development, Pre-Production, Production, Post-Production, and Delivery. The product was tested through two stages, alpha testing and beta testing. The alpha testing results showed a suitability percentage of 90.6% from media experts and 96.9% from content experts, which means that the training video is very suitable to be distributed as a learning media for new employees. Beta testing was conducted on 30 new employees. The test results data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test method. The results showed a significance value (p) of 0.000. This value is less than 0.05 (p < 0.05), which means that the tensile testing machine training video proved to be successful in significantly improving employee understanding.
