Efektivitas Video Motion Graphic dengan Live Shoot tentang Pengelolaan Sampah di Batam

Abstract

The increasing volume of waste in Batam became a challenge for waste management and required active community participation. However, limited public understanding of waste management remained one of the obstacles to addressing this issue. This research evaluated the effectiveness of a motion graphic video combined with live shoot footage as an information medium for waste management in Batam. The video was developed using the Villamil-Molina method, which consisted of the development, pre-production, production, post-production, and delivery stages. The effectiveness of the developed video was measured using the EPIC Model. The results showed an EPIC Rate score of 4.43, which was categorized as very effective. These findings indicated that the combination of motion graphics and live shoot footage was highly effective as an information medium for waste management in Batam.
