Pengaruh Lingkungan Kerja dan Implementasi Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Manufaktur Di Kota Batam

Abstract

This research investigates how the work environment and the application of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) affect the performance of manufacturing employees in Batam City. A quantitative survey design was applied, with manufacturing workers in Batam City forming the study population. Primary information was obtained through Likert-scale questionnaires. Respondents were selected by probability sampling using a simple random sampling procedure. The resulting data were processed through multiple linear regression with SPSS. The partial tests indicate that the work environment has a positive and statistically significant influence on employee performance. OHS implementation likewise produces a positive and significant effect. When assessed simultaneously, the two independent variables jointly have a positive and significant relationship with the performance of manufacturing employees in Batam City. These results suggest that supportive workplace conditions and a well-executed occupational safety system help establish a secure and comfortable work setting, which in turn strengthens employee performance.
