PERANCANGAN ANIMASI 2D ZAKAT PROFESI LEMBAGA AMIL ZAKAT DSNI AMANAH

Abstract

The potential of professional zakat in Indonesia, particularly in Batam, is considerable due to its predominantly Muslim population. However, public awareness and understanding of professional zakat remain low. Therefore, innovative educational media are needed to improve public knowledge and encourage zakat compliance.This research aims to design a 2D animated educational film entitled "Sadar Kewajiban" as a medium for promoting professional zakat at LAZ DSNI Amanah. The animation has a duration of 4 minutes and 16 seconds in MP4 format and is distributed through the institution's social media platforms. This study applies the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method with a quantitative descriptive analysis technique. The evaluation results indicate that the animated media achieved a feasibility rate of 81.25% from media experts and 82.72% from public testing. Consequently, this animated film is deemed highly feasible for use as an educational medium expected to enhance public awareness and understanding regarding the importance of professional zakat payment.
