Analysis of Container brand Selection at Batu Ampar Port, Batam City Using Analytical Hierarchy Process and Expert Judgement

Abstract

Containers have become a means of packaging goods used by all international logistics service providers in their operations so that they are an important factor in the efficiency of goods delivery. This study aims to determine the best containers in Batu Ampar based on measurements from the criteria of Price, Quality, Reliability, and Service Network as well as subcriteria compiled by the Analytical Hierarchy Process method. The research was conducted by obtaining a sample of 8 people who work as experts in the field of logistics in the city of Batam.
