- ItemAlat Pemisah Botol Plastik dan Kaleng Secara Otomatis(Politeknik Negeri Batam, 2017-02-24) Bahri, Rizki Kurnia; Sumantri; Fatekha, Rifqi AmalyaRecycling is a non organic waste management strategy that includes the collection of trash, sorting, cleaning, and processing waste into items that are new to the production process About sorting trash in particular waste plastic bottles and cans in general still involves human hands in normal use. In this research, the author created a tool that can sort the waste plastic bottles and cans automatically to ease the work of man before the process is recycled. The components used to support the success of this tool is a proximity sensor to detect the difference between plastic bottles and cans, then servo motor as a drag each bottle is discarded and as a separator between plastic bottles and cans corresponding the container. Based on test results that the proximity sensor can detect 10 sample bottles by type consisting of 8 types of plastic bottles and 2 types of cans with a maximum detection distance of 2 cm, and the average time resulting in experiment tool is 10.37 seconds.

Usually the data and measurement data of children recapitulated on KMS. But with today's technology, the system can be made more effective if data retrieval and storage using computer. Then the analysis of infant growth in Posyandu based on PC designed to facilitate the data retrieval. In addition, from the results data retrieval can also display the toddler nutritional status, which is based on standard anthropometric assessment of nutritional status of children in the Minister of Health numbers 1995/MENKES/SK/XII/2010. System, divided into two main parts: hardware and software. The hardware consists of measuring height using ultrasonic sensors, weighing the body using the Load Cell, amplifies the voltage amplifier circuit for Load Cell and Arduino to process data. The results obtained have a percentage error of about 0-4% for weight measurement. While the ultrasonic sensor has a large percentage of errors when reading distance of 0-3 cm. Overall, the time for retrieval and storage of data using this system is faster than the process manually.

This research is aimed to develop library services. The development utilizes android applications, so that students or civitas can access the library from another place. To access the library, users can use a downloaded android app on the phone. By using the application, users can find information about books in the library. In the android application, users can find information from books such as authors, publishers, the number of books available, as well as book positions. This application is expected to improve the quality of the Politeknik Negeri Batam’s library.

Pick and Place Bottle Sterilization Machine is industrial world application in smaller scale. Magnetic proximity switch, inductive proximity switch, optical proximity switch, and limit switch worn as censor. This machine will detect 2 kinds of bottle, metal bottle and non metal bottle. where does metal bottle detected by inductive proximity switch, and optical proximity switch and non metal bottle only detected by optical proximity switch. The bottle that detected moved into sterilization box. In a few moments progress that determine the sterilization has finish and the bottle will moved into lasts bottle box according to the bottle kind. This tool also been proveded with emergency push button and manual push button for education use . By use of this tool measurement process can be done up to ± 50 seconds per one system cycle.

The most popular music instrument is guitar. Before we play guitar we have to take a look at how we set the string up, because it fluencing to the music we play and need long time to set the string up. So from the problem above we need a device to tune the guitar's string automatically to help the musician who have problem about tuning guitar's string. But before we build it we need the frequency literature from each guitar's string to help the research. This research using microcontroller as a master to initialization the frequency by doing thresholding events at the string signal which amplified by operational amplifier to assist initialization string's frequency which use microcontroller as slave to be a frequency reciever which initialized by master and move the servo motor to appropriate the string to basic frequency. Sending data frequency between master and slave this final project using bluetooth. from this research data produced above have 0,3 until 1 Hz difference, and need about 16 until 20 second to tune the guitar.

- ItemBarelang Misil 01(Politeknik Negeri Batam, 2014-06-06) Prasetio, Eko; Kamarudin, KamarudinKOMURINDO ( Kontes Muatan dan Roket Indonesia ) is a competition in the field of rocketry technology. One of its objectives is to develop a system of rocketry by utilizing wind power from an EDF motor and also focuses on the process of data transmission such as data of altitude sensor, elevation, direction and data from the rocket movement that sent in real time to the GUI (Graphic User Interface). To be able to maintain the position of the elevation angle, this rocket is designed to have fin that can be controlled autonomous based on the changes of angle data from the accelerometer sensor. The first test results show the average of rocket error percentage to remain on the elevation angle about 3.98%. Results of second test about 17.86% and the third test about 29.30%. The average speed of the rocket to reach the top is 24.7 m/s. The differences of rocket’s percentage data to be at an elevation angle position affected by wind speed changes that are not stable at the time of trial launch.

This scheme aims to generate value for the output voltage higher than the input voltage. To be able to produce higher output value is used PWM as an input for controlling duty cycle, where the duty cycle is proportional to the output voltage. So that when the experiments were performed at 100% duty cycle produces an output voltage of 11,6 V, duty cycle than when the experiment is still at 20% Ton < Toff with the result of the output voltage of 2,2 V.

Charging system using magnetic generator or it could be called the magnetic generator is a generator-based neomydium permanent magnet, these magnets in the know with its strong and not easily lost the magnetism. This generator in designed to produce a current DC to charge the electrical device that using 5-10 DC voltage, by relying on the battery- voltage 7 volt DC. That had been a regular battery-voltage 7 volt can only be in use for certain purposes to his power ran out now we can take advantage of as a magnetic generator supply was later able to produce electrical energy that we can use for some devices. Research of this magnet generator produces an output voltage is ranges 5-36 volt DC, with the current output of 0.2 ampere.
