    At this time, the benefits of computer networks has been very much felt. Especially in fast- paced world of communications, the network computer is often a vital role in the activities of such rapid distribution of information. All of the components incorporated in the computer network must be able to support each other to produce a robust and reliable system to serve each request the information needed by the user. Many benefits in the application of computer networks is still not optimized in Politeknik Negeri Batam education, especially in Politeknik Negeri Batam hostel. At this final project will be designed a web-based information system that helps residents and recording data in an optimal room demand, as well as delays in the payment of boarding information. The design is done by design or designing an information system in accordance with those requirements. After that make components that will be needed. By using the MySQL database hosts the data will be stored, this information system created using PHP programming language, as well as delays in providing information using the SMS boarding fees.

    These days there are many formal or informal institutions wich use elearning as their learning and teaching method. Elearning is long distance learning method wich use computer and computer network as it resources. These allow students and teachers enable to learn or teach in everywhere even at their home. But, does elearning could be effective to serve the lesson to the students? As we know it together, most of elearning still use text or e-book to serve the lessons, it may could be bored somehow. That’s way we are developing multimedia elearning. technically multimedia elearning as same as regular elearning. The difference is multimedia eleraning contain text, sound, picture, flash even video chatting. We make it as interactive as possible to serve the lessons.

    The increasing number of internet users, has attracted various business ventures to take advantage of internet facilities. The Internet can provide facilities to market products and services online such as online buying and advertising online. Buying and selling online can be called e-commerce. Most existing e-commerce provide product selling services, there is no specifically handle the services. From these problems, advertising service websites are created that handle advertising services. If usually an advertisement using paper, newspaper and catalog printing will save a considerable cost higher cost to be lowered. Using this advertising website, people can find information for services around them online, people do not need to go around just to get the services they are needed. From these problems, a website that can handle that problems is required. That website developed using PHP, Codeigniter Framework and Recommendation system method. This website have rating and review features to display services based on customer ratings and reviews. Therefore we expected can help people to decide the related and reliable services.

    Aplikasi Pemodelan Basisdata

    Organization needs a database as data storage media. Database is very important for the organization. The Develope process of database was divided into 4 stages: requirements analysis, ER design, relational schema, and create DBMS using SQL language. When creating ER design stage and then convert the diagram to a relational schema will need a long process and this procedure may be possible cause many human error. There are several applications to design the databases, such as Power Designer and Microsoft Visio. Both of two applications above can be used to draw the ER design, but can not directly convert into a relational schema. So Applications was made for Modeling Database, the specification are it can draw ER design than directly converting to relational schema. The application can handle half from all 4 proccess to design the databases. After implementation of the application, that applications can be used to draw the ER design, and then it can be converted into a relational schema, and then it can directly translate into SQL query and running in DBMS.

    Identifikasi Garis pada Lapangan Sepak Bola Berbasis OpenCV

    Application identification line on the football field requires OpenCV library. The introduction begins with the retrieval object image lines per frame RGB format. RGB image taken in grayscale format conversion in which the result is a black and white, next to the image edge detection using Canny method, then at the end of line detection using Hough Line Transform method using the parameter space which is polar coordinate angle and radius at some point taken. The results of line detection in a video frame image shows the results unstable. As for the detection of lines in the image file shows stable results.

    Implementasi Cloud Pada Point of Sales Berbasis Android Barcode Scanner

    In a business, especially the business of selling items, data of each item is very important for a seller. The use of manual information system can make some error, such as error in collecting items data, error in the sales transaction process, and paper need as data storage in large quantities. On the other side, buyers have some problems when they want to buy some items. Those problems are the information about the location of a store, the availability and price of an item, and limited time to shop. Implementation of online shopping can handle the problems that faced by the buyer, but the method of online shopping is still not practical due to having to access the website first, choosing the menu to see or searching for items, and then decided to buy the items. To resolve the problems that faced by the seller and the buyer, this final project designed a system that is able to manage information and data quickly, precise, and accurate called Point of Sale and a new method of online shopping that allows buyers to perform ordering items transaction by scanning the barcode of an item using the camera on a smartphone device. Between the Point of Sales system for sellers and the new online shopping method system using barcode scanning service to buyers connected by Cloud Computing Software as a Service.

The purpose of this final project is to determine the software intrusion detection system suitable for use at the Politeknik Batam as a network security system server. Software of intrusion detection system compared in this final project is snort and base, suricata, and ossec.

Scheneider Electric Manufacturing Batam has implemented several programs that digitized applications to reduce paper and environmental use are most effective for the use of natural and waste related to company activities, as for the applications of the program include: 1. line Audit Aplication, 2. Smart Visit Aplication, 3. Replenishment Packing Box Aplication. From the above information mention that the required applications related to the programs in PT.Scheneider Batam Electricity Manufacturing, especially in the canteen where the entertained employees write their data on paper, the data that must be written in the name, badge number, department, shift and signature as a reinforcement of data authenticity, this data recording to know total data of employees eat in the canteen everyday, therefore needed android application based on QR Code for employees concumtion data record at canteen. With this application the employees want to eat in the canteen only need to show QR Code on their badge to canteen officer to be scanned without need write their data on paper anymore. To reduce paper used also an important environment from the use of natural resources, waste and emissions, related activities on PT.Scheneider Electric Manufacturing Batam.

    Data preprocessing at department Wire Harness in PT Surya Teknologi Batam currently recapitulation data is still in the form of Ms. Excel. Data authentication and the length of time required to search for data in the form of folders are also an obstacle for Clerk, Engineer, and Technician in exploring the data. Form these problems came the idea of making Visualization of WH’s maintenance data using Interactive Visualization method to help ilustrate data in the department in graphic form, pattern, or color to make it easier to move, remember images quickly and can detect changes in size, motion, and texture. This visualization is made in order to facilitate the technician, clerk or engineer in the process of exploring the data maintenance WH based on the parameters provided.
