PERANCANGAN SISTEM ABSENSI KARYAWAN BERBASIS WEBSITE MENGGUNAKAN QR CODE PADA GEMILANG MART

Abstract

In the rapidly evolving digital era, information technology plays a crucial role in human resource management. This research aims to address attendance issues at Gemilang Mart, a retail company still using manual record-keeping with paper and pen, which is prone to errors. With the increasing number of employees at Gemilang Mart, the utilization of this website is necessary. The proposed solution is the development of an integrated and automated web-based attendance system using QR Code technology and a database. This system enables employees to record their attendance via the internet. Features include attendance recording, attendance reports accessible by management and employees, leave or permission requests, and ease of access and transparency of information. To prevent fraud, the attendance system can only be used when the user is at Gemilang Mart or connected to Gemilang Mart's WiFi. Testing results indicate that this system improves performance and accuracy compared to the previous manual method. In conclusion, this web-based attendance system successfully supports human resource management at Gemilang Mart and is adaptable to modern business dynamics.
