Analisis Manfaat Investasi STS (Ship To Shore) Crane Pada Pelabuhan Batu Ampar Menggunakan SWOT Analysis

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the benefits of STS Crane procurement investment in Batu Ampar Port and find out how the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats should be considered in the investment. The population in this study were 15 employees of the Batam Business Agency, Batam Port Business Agency unit and the saturated sample used was 15 people. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews and Focus Group Discussions (FGD). The research method used was a qualitative method. The SWOT analysis used was a descriptive analysis method, SWOT Matrix, and SWOT diagram analysis. The results of this research analysis are that SWOT improves the strategy that will be used in reviewing STS crane investment in Batu Ampar Port using a growth strategy. STS crane investment in Batu Ampar Port faces several significant obstacles such as inadequate infrastructure challenges, sea depth, complicated and lengthy licensing, market threats, and lack of financial support and incentives from the government.
