Item Analisis dan Implementasi Penggunaan Mel Script Untuk Rigging Karakter Pada Film Animasi 3d Jati Diri Si Kacang dengan Prinsip Squash And Stretch(Politeknik Negeri Batam, 2017-05-24) Ramonda, Febrian; RiwinotoToday the use of 3D animation increasingly popular, because it can be applied to various aspects, and has a wide range of benefits. But 3D animation has some flaws in the manufacturing process. Some of them are the amount of resources, time, and effort required and there are several fatal human errors in the manufacturing process of 3D animation, as in the rigging. Of course, one of principle of animation is squash and stretch that one of many form of rigging. One solution to these problems is to use MEL script. For that purpose, the research was made on the implementation of MEL script on rigging. This research uses several characters in a 3D animation film as the test sample. Testing method used consisted of calculating the speed of the process of rigging, analysis of the number of human errors that occur, also comparasion of volume from an object that use squash and stretch. Results of the test proved that the method of MEL scripts can make the process of 3D animation of the rigging to be more effective.Item Analisis Efektivitas Game Virtual Reality 'Battle of Riau' Dalam Menyampaikan Pengetahuan Sejarah Kepada Pengguna(2024-06-21) Wayoga, Andre; Riwinoto; RiwinotoABSTRACT - Penggunaan teknologi Virtual Reality (VR) telah menjadi topik yang semakin menarik dalam konteks pendidikan, dengan minat penelitian dan pengembangan yang berkembang pesat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi potensi penggunaan game VR "Battle of Riau" sebagai alat pembelajaran dalam menyampaikan materi sejarah kepada pengguna. Melalui pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain Uji-T 2 sampel (Independen), penelitian ini membandingkan efektivitas penggunaan game VR dengan metode pembelajaran konvensional dalam meningkatkan pemahaman materi sejarah. Responden dari kedua kelompok tersebut telah disamakan dalam hal kesetaraan melalui pengukuran homogenitas. Dan berdasarkan hasil dari uji t independent penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode pembelajaran game VR (kelompok eksperimen) memberikan indikasi dampak yang signifikan dan lebih baik dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dibandingkan dengan metode pembelajaran konvensional (kelompok kontrol).Item Analisis Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Penerimaan Shot Animasi 3d Oleh Animation Supervisor dan Lead Animator Sebagai Shot yang Layak untuk Diperlihatkan Pada Sutradara(Politeknik Negeri Batam, 2017-05-24) David, David; Riwinoto; Rahmi, AnisOftenly what happens in the animation learning and what happens in animation industry are not alike. Therefore, this research is done by researching an animation project that is expected to be a reference. This study aims to reveal what factors affect the acceptance of 3D animated shot by animation supervisor and lead animator as a decent shot to show to the director of case study X. This disclosure is done through interviews with subjects in X project. At the pendulum animation, the animation has a qualitative test against animation expert respondents as many as 15 people can be concluded that the pendulum animation, the animation has a deviation value deviation graph 9.191676474 quality best ease in ease out by 66.7%.Item Analisis Pengalaman Pengguna Pada Game Virtual Reality Mahakarya Vokasi Menggunakan Metode User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ)(2024) Hia, Syukurman; RiwinotoThis article explores the user experience (UX) of the Vocational Masterpiece Virtual Reality Game using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) method. VR technology is making a huge impact in the gaming industry, offering an immersive interactive experience. The Vocational Masterpiece game adopts a "low poly" art style and allows users to explore 10 islands, collecting innovations from the vocational community. This research aims to understand user interaction with the game and assess the quality of the user interface, identifying potential problems and opportunities for improvement. UX in the context of VR games includes aspects such as graphics and controls, as well as emotional reactions and values from user interactions. The UEQ method evaluates six dimensions: Attractiveness, Perspicuity, Efficiency, Dependability, Stimulation, and Novelty. The study involved 28 respondents aged 18-25 years old. Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed after users played the game for 10-15 minutes. Results showed positive ratings on all UEQ scales, with Attractiveness recording the highest score (mean 1.958), followed by Perspicuity (1.839), Efficiency (1.286), Dependability (1.634), Stimulation (1.589), and Novelty (0.884). The UEQ benchmark analysis shows that the Vocational Masterpiece game has good UX quality. These findings indicate that although the game provides a satisfying experience, efficiency and courage still need to be improved for further development to enhance the game's quality and prowess in the competitive market.Item ANALISIS PENGALAMAN PENGGUNA PADA GAME VR BATTLE OF RIAU MENGGUNAKAN METODE USER EXPERIENCE QUESTIONNAIRE (UEQ)(2024) Jiharkah, Bisma Shadiq; Riwinoto; RiwinotoVirtual Reality (VR) technology has developed rapidly and is applied in various sectors, including the gaming industry. One example of its application is in the VR Battle of Riau game, a VR-based game with action and tower defense gameplay. This game uses a low poly art style and is set in the war between the Malay Kingdom of Riau Lingga Johor and the Dutch Colonial from 1828 to 1911. The research aims to analyze user experience in playing Battle of Riau VR game through UEQ method. The research approach is quantitative with a posttest-only design in one group, involving 20 participants aged 18-30 from diverse gaming backgrounds. The results showed that all aspects of UEQ assessment for the Battle of Riau VR game received a good evaluation, with an average for attractiveness 1.99, clarity 1.50, efficiency 1.28, accuracy 1.18, stimulation 1.90, and novelty 1.18. Compared to the benchmark, attractiveness and stimulation are categorized as "Excellent". In contrast, clarity, efficiency, and accuracy are classified as "Above Average", and novelty is categorized as "Good". To detect the expression required an automatic system. The system requires a method of artificial intelligence. There are two methods of artificial intelligence that is quite popular in the identification of expression, namely Neural Networks and K-Means Clustering. Neural Network is a supervised learning method which is well used in pattern recognition, while the K-Means Clustering is an unsupervised learning effective methods applied in the process of clarifying the characteristics of the object and is not affected in the order of objects used. The experiment was conducted using both methods to find the highest level of accuracy. In training and testing with a ratio of 80%: 20% of data using Neural Network, the epoch value 500, learning rate 0.3, and 0.2 momentum. While at K-Means Clustering, training to use 100% of the data, with the value itteration 500, numCluster 8 and seed 8. A game that is said to be balanced, is a game that is not too difficult and not too easy, so the ability of the player itself to be a major factor in the success of players in playing the game. The importance of players satisfaction affects the difficulty level of the game, generally game player discontent with AI game quality that controls opponents to make players more opponents are controlled by humans, but human- controlled opponents are not available. Because research is needed with new techniques using dynamic scripting for online adaptation in AI games, and 3 (three) different enhancements for dynamic scripting techniques, namely high-fitness penalizing, weight clipping and top culling. A good game is a game that has a good appeal from the side view, rules and also AI because the attraction has one of the functions as an entertainer. But not all AI can make players feel entertained. AI that can make players feel entertained is the AI that can provide a sense of challenge to the players by adjusting their ability to the ability possessed by players. For that it needs mechine-learning that is Dynamic Scripting and weight clipping method to adjust the ability of AI and player. Experiments conducted in this study using questionnaires of 60 questionnaires which are then divided into 2 parts, namely in the first consists of 30 people gamers and the second part 30 people non-gamers. Everyone who filled out the questionnaire conducted 15 experiments in each mode. But the data taken is only the data on the order of 6 to 15. Because the initial 5 data is considered to have a game that has not been stable. So as to generate data as much as 1800 data. So as to generate data as much as 1800 data. AI (Artificial Intelligence) is one component in the game where with the presence of Artificial Intelligent game will feel more interesting. Artificial Intelligent is basically a part of the system that can make its own decisions and is usually placed on the enemy, but in this project Artificial Intelligent will be placed on game characters that aims to show the ability of characters in solving problems in the game. External Validity used in this experimental study used conceptual replication of the mechanisms of music to evoke emotion. Research subjects were 20 students of Batam. Technological revolution, global market dynamics, and regulatory changes create a dynamic and uncertain business environment. In advanced manufacturing industries, Digital Twin (DT) modeling is a relevant topic. The authors propose the use of DT with Virtual Reality (VR) for system monitoring and visual data processing of ongoing processes. A case study was conducted at PT XX, an electronics company that assembles plastic parts through a molding process. This research aims to develop DT and analyze the usability of the system with VR in monitoring molding machines using the Statistical Process Control (SPC) method. The Research and Development (R&D) method was used to create a prototype application and a qualitative approach was used with usability testing to analyze user perspectives on the use of VR. The results showed that the graphs presented were helpful in understanding the data. The application has facilitated monitoring although there is still a need for improvement in explaining the use of VR. Nevertheless, respondents were satisfied with the use of this application.
