This research is aimed to develop library services. The development utilizes android applications, so that students or civitas can access the library from another place. To access the library, users can use a downloaded android app on the phone. By using the application, users can find information about books in the library. In the android application, users can find information from books such as authors, publishers, the number of books available, as well as book positions. This research is part and parcel of a major theme of research in the field of robotics, especially on the topic of humanoid robotics field that is focusing his attention on robots that mimic human model. Given how the breadth of coverage of this field, then each part of the human being in its own areas of study. At this time the research the author makes a robot finger. The purpose of making a robot finger this is Designing robotic arm with fingers using arduino and servo motor as its main driving force, studying the characteristics-owned servo motor characteristic in the design of robot motion human finger followers fingered. System working robot fingers using the push button as input and servo motor which is twirled by a rope as the driving force of the fingers. When the push button is pressed once and then the finger moves 180 degrees, while close to reopen the finger press the push button once again.Item Rancang Bangun Alat Pengaduk dan Penyaring Kerupuk Atom Otomatis untuk Usaha Kecil Menengah di Masyarakat Daerah Moro(Politeknik Negeri Batam, 2017-02-24) Supianto; Febriansyah Juwito, ArifCracker is one of the foods consumed in Indonesia. especially in the area of the village. One of the many produced crackers is in sub district of Moro, production process the crackers in the area of Moro, still using manual equipment, using a small spatula as a tool to stir the cracker at a time when the process of frying, so that when the crackers are produced in large numbers. of course a small spatula is usually used can not give comfort to the user. For that it is designed to provide convenience to users in producing crackers. The working principle of this instrument by way of stirring the crackers during frying in accordance with the desired time. Testing this tool has produced a time of maturity crackers faster than manually. In a frying pan crackers 1 and 2 kg capacity with this tool has the maturity of 3 and 5 minutes faster. The components used in making this instrument, that is arduino uno, SIM900 GSM module, Voltage Reducer Module (LM 2596), etc. In this tool components used as a medium of SMS delivery is by SIM900 GSM Module, and lowering the voltage used in the tool is used as the lowering of the voltage of the source of the alarm on the car to the input voltage to the arduino. System device works is this tool utilizes Mobile as the second safety if broken locks or alarms on the vehicle sounded. This tool will give an alert via SMS to the owner of the vehicle, that vehicle in danger. From the observation data that can be found when the car was in the room were very covered with concrete then SMS is sent may have pending.Item Simulasi Navigasi Kapal : Point To Point Dengan Gps(Politeknik Negeri Batam, 2017-02-24) Istiana Putra, Eka; Sumantri KShip is a marine transportation that used for connect the islands. So that we need a reliable navigation system for easy control. Autopilot is one of the alternative driver to run the ship automatically. By using electronics coordinate point that can determined by GPS module (GY.NEO6MV2). With the coordinates point, the driver can automatically determine the direction of the ship. In the control, the point coordinates in the input through the keypad and the results will be displayed on the LCD. Arduino Uno will process the goal with a predetermined mathematical formula to get the point coordinates of the destination of the ship. After that two propeller ship propulsion will determine the position of the destination. And the ship will change the position and heading towards the goal. To control the propeller, use Driver Monster moto shield Arduino (VNH2SP30) as controlling propeller speed and direction of rotary propeller. All the system is set by Arduino, so we need the right program in control. From the observation can be obtained the data input of the destination, tilt angle, distance goal, heading the ship, and the movement of the ship propellers.Item Sistem Otomasi Loading/Unloading pada Proses Annealing Furnace Berbasis Plc(Politeknik Negeri Batam, 2018-01-03) Syahputra Lubis, M. Ashari; Gozali, M. SyafeiIn the process of handling in annealing furnace, loading and unloading system is a very important activity to help the process of moving the workpiece into annealing process. Thus this work is done repeatedly throughout the work day. Previously loading and unloading jobs are still done entirely by the workers manually, without any mechanical aids, more effective and lower operating costs. But behind those advantages, poorly designed manual work will pose a high risk of working injuries, especially injuries to the lower spine that can be fatal to the worker. Therefore, PLC as a controller helps an activity to be faster and easier. And this PLC is a digital computer device used to automate a machine or manage electro-mechanical processes in an industry. Then the system is auto loading with the help of cylinder and timer make the process of loading have spare time for 18 minutes for operator to do other work and will not standby continue. On the other hand the system of unloading and cooling is auto and assisted by cylinder can also directly to cooling process without taking and putting to cooling rack and can cut cooling time from 60 minutes to 8 minutes. And the auto system in unloading is more effective 86% than before.Item Hi-Pot Tester Machine(Politeknik Negeri Batam, 2018-03-05) Yusuf Yusron, Ahmad; Gozali, M. SyafeiThis research aim to create a machine that can test the leakage current and ground body on the coffe machine automatically. The test will be done by sequence diagram methode controlled by plc (Programmabel Logic Controller) with input of a sensor to detect the object and pneumatics of the cylinder also motor as the driver. Testing leakage current is done by connecting a certain voltage to thermoblock coffee machine and testing ground body by measuring the grounding resistance of the coffee machine. The application of automatic controls makes the use of lights efficient where the working system on the lamps is built with complex as needed.Item Monitoring Smart Home Via Android(Politeknik Negeri Batam, 2018-01-18) Kurniawan, WahyuSmart home is a system that integrates the electronic devices that are often used in a house with a media control where the media control is a smartphone device. home servers are created using Wi-Fi technology that accepts orders from clients and orders will be processed through Wemos. System design is based on Wemos Microcontroller device and some passive and active sensors. This study aims to design a home control system that allows users to control lighting at home, monitor the temperature and humidity of the room, monitor gas and smoke in the house which is integrated with one android device that applies controlling wirelessly (wifi) using microcontroller Wemos D1. The results showed that the application on Android can replace the function switch and can be a medium to monitor the home directly through the web server.Item Sistem Telemetri Pada Radiosonde Frekuensi 433 Mhz(Politeknik Negeri Batam, 2017-10-19) Imron Yusfi, Dio; Aisyah, SitiObservations of atmospheric data is an integral part of the research activities in fields related to weather and climate, it also needed a technology that can measure the value of greenhouse gas in the atmosphere, therefore required observation of atmospheric parameters and measurement of greenhouse gas with the actual circumstances / realtime. One of the ways that can be done to measure the value of the atmosphere and greenhouse gas by doing measurements vertically using radiosonde atmospheric balloon payload that is. Radiosonde will be flown in a balloon containing helium gas and can immediately retrieve data and then send it to the surface (Groundsegment) in realtime. radiosonde using radio signals for sending data, the recommended radio waves used in indonesia namely frequency 433 MHz. The results of experiments conducted radiosonde that is able to retrieve and send data to Groundsegment properly.
