Abstract
This study aims to determine the causes and improvements when there is a case of fuel unreadable on ATR72-500/600 aircraft. fuel unreadable is closely related to the fuel system where this system functions as a regulator of combustion on the aircraft engine so that it can run well. If there is damage to the fuel system, there will be an error, one of which is fuel unreadable. Identify this problem by checking the DMI (Deferred Maintenance Item) due to a report by the pilot or checking at the time of maintenance. After that, do troubleshooting and then change the goods by reffering to the maintenance procedure. Several components cause fuel unreadable, including damage to the fuel probe and pin damage to the fuel probe connector. The completion of the unreadable fuel case can be finish by replacing the fuel probe component contained in the right or left fuel tank.
