Item Analisis Efektivitas Animasi 2D "Portrait" Menggunakan Nielsen Model Untuk Generasi Alpha(2024-11-20) Arfina, Nur Tsamarah; Mu'minin, AmirulThe alpha generation is a generation that grew up in the midst of sophisticated technological developments and it became part of their daily lives, making them more likely to be responsive to interactive and visual things. This research aims to test the effectiveness of 2D animation video “Portrait” for alpha generation, especially on the information conveyed in the animation. The design method used is MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) and in testing using the Nielsen Model method, which has 5 stages namely learnability, efficiency, memorability, errors, and satisfaction. This research has an important novelty in measuring the potential effectiveness of the Portrait animation, specifically for 30 alpha generations aged 9-13 years in the context of edutainment. The output of this animation is an MP4 with a duration of 6 minutes 26 seconds and published on YouTube platform. The results of this study indicate that the Portrait animation can be said to be effective, with final scores in the form of Learnability (82%), Efficiency (82%), Memorability (81%), Errors (74%), and Satisfaction (86%) with an overail average 89% into excellent from Nielsen model. With this research, it is expected for learning media with edutainment and prove that information with visuals can make the message conveyed more interesting and easy to understand.
