    The Implementation of Digital Payment and Its Impact on User Decision in Batam City

    The digital transformation within the financial system has facilitated the widespread adoption of digital payments across society. This study aims to examine the influence of motivation, perception, and consumer behavior on user decision-making in the context of digital payment usage in Batam City. This study applied a quantitative research design through a survey approach, involving 101 participants chosen via purposive sampling technique. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with the Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) technique. The findings reveal that consumer motivation and behavior have a statistically significant effect on user decisions, whereas perception does not exhibit a significant impact. This study contributes empirical evidence that may enrich theoretical perspectives in the field of digital payment and offers practical implications for digital financial service providers in developing strategies that enhance user motivation, perception, and behavior in relation to decision-making.

    Impluse Buying in the Tiktok Era: Lifestyle, Fashion and Influencer Influence on Gen Z

    This study analyzes the influence of shopping lifestyle, fashion involvement, and influencer marketing on e-impulse buying among Politeknik Negeri Batam students who actively use TikTok Shop. The rise of TikTok has contributed significantly to impulsive buying, particularly among Gen Z. Data collection involving 383 students was carried out using a quantitative research design. The results reveal that shopping lifestyle (R² = 0.611), fashion involvement, and influencer marketing significantly affect e-impulse buying. Students with active shopping habits and strong fashion interests are more prone to impulse buying, especially when exposed to influencer-driven promotions. The study suggests that marketers should leverage personalized promotions, fashion-based content, and collaborations with micro-influencers to engage Gen Z consumers effectively. Practical strategies may include real-time interaction, peer-based reviews, and visually engaging content to trigger impulse purchases. These findings contribute to the literature on hedonic consumption and dual-process theory by showing how emotional and social factors interact in TikTok’s shopping ecosystem.

    AN ANALYSIS OF MARKETING STIMULI FACTORS IN PURCHASING DECISIONS FOR FAST FASHION ITEMS AMONG GENERATION Z IN BATAM

    This study aims to analyze the marketing stimuli factors that influence the purchasing decisions of Generation Z in Batam City regarding fast fashion items. The research adopts a quantitative approach, utilizing factor analysis as the primary analytical method. Within the study, 19 variables were initially examined and subsequently reduced to several factors. The analysis revealed four key factors that drive purchasing decisions for fast fashion items among Generation Z in Batam City: Attractive Service, Marketing Excellence and Competitive Design, Value for Money, and Shopping Experience. The Attractive Service factor emerged as the most dominant, accounting for 24.192% of the variance in this study. This finding underscores the critical role of service quality in influencing consumer decisions in the competitive fast fashion industry.

    Pengaruh Waktu Luang Dan Disiplin Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Layanan Pada Karyawan Frontliner Telkomsel Batam

    This study was conducted to prove the effect of free time on service performance at Grapari Telkomsel Batam. Second, to find out the effect of work discipline on service performance at Grapari Telkomsel Batam, and third, to what extent the effect of free time and work discipline on service performance at Grapari Telkomsel Batam with a quantitative descriptive approach with a population of 42 people, and also as a sample of 42 employees, namely frontliner employees (Grapari Batam Center, Grapari Grand Mall, Grapari Nagoya Hill, and Grapari Panbil). With an educational range of S1 for all frontliner employees of Grapari Telkomsel Batam. The questionnaires distributed were 42 and all returned, with a total sampling technique. To analyze the data of this study using multiple regression analysis techniques using SPSS software. Based on the results of the study where the free time variable (X1) does not affect service performance (Y), the hypothesis is said to be accepted if the t value < t table . Where the T count value is -0.934 through the significance value is 0.356 or (>0.05). So that it is able to conclude that the free time variable (X1) is not positively or significantly affected by service performance (Y) indicated by the t count having a negative value. work discipline variable (X2) on service performance (Y) with a significance value of 0.000 or (<0.05). Able to conclude that the work discipline variable (X2) has a significant effect on service performance (Y) indicated by the t count having a positive value. Based on this study, it is recommended that Telkomsel Batam implement a time management program and work discipline training for frontline employees in order to improve service performance. In addition, companies need to consider adequate free time flexibility so that employees can maintain work-life balance, which has the potential to increase their satisfaction and productivity.

    Optimizing the process of storing goods in warehouses using the Dedicated Storage method.

    This research focuses on optimizing the process of storing goods in warehouse lot 6 of PT. Giken Precision Indonesia by implementing the Dedicated Storage method, the PDCA system approach, and the 5S (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, and Shitsuke) implementation. Warehouse lot 6 of PT. Giken Precision Indonesia faces challenges in terms of inefficient layout, random placement of goods, lack of cleanliness, and an inadequate security system. To overcome these problems, the Dedicated Storage method is used, which is a way of organizing warehouse layout by allocating specific storage space for each type of goods, making it easier to search and retrieve goods. The implementation of the Dedicated Storage method has proven effective in improving warehouse operational efficiency. By allocating a specific storage area for each type of goods, the time it takes to search and place goods is shortened, and the use of storage space is optimized. The implementation of the PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Action) system helps in identifying problems, designing solutions, implementing solutions, and evaluating the effectiveness of the implemented solutions. The implementation of 5S (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, and Shitsuke) shows varied results, with the implementation of Seiri (Sort) and Seiton (Set in order) achieving an achievement level of 75%, Seiso (Shine) achieving 50%, Seiketsu (Standardize) achieving 100%, and Shitsuke (Sustain) not being specifically measured in this research. Overall, this research shows that the implementation of the Dedicated Storage method with the PDCA system approach and 5S can be an effective solution to overcome the problems faced in warehouse lot 6 of PT. Giken Precision Indonesia.

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh harga, citra merek, dan kualitas produk terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen Mixue. Sampel penelitian ini mencakup 385 konsumen Mixue yang tinggal di Kota Batam. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer, yang dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa harga memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian mixue, citra merek memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian mixue, kualitas produk memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian mixue dan yang terahir harga, citra merek, dan kualitas produk secara simultan memberikan pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian mixue.     Effects of Products, Service Quality and Digital Marketing on Kopi Kenangan Batam Customer Loyalty

    The coffee industry in Indonesia is a high-potential economic sector that can drive quality economic growth. The aim of this study is to analyze the effects of product and service quality and digital marketing on the satisfaction, trust, and loyalty of Kopi Kenangan customers especially in Batam. A descriptive and causality quantitative approach is used with SEM-PLS method, which involves descriptive analysis, outer and inner model, and also hypothesis testing. With a sample of 125 Kopi Kenangan customers across Batam City, this study found that the model has good validity and reliability. The analysis shows that trust significantly mediates loyalty, which is driven by service quality and digital marketing. Satisfaction indirectly affects loyalty by shaping trust. Practically speaking, companies should prioritize building trust through personalized service and consistent digital marketing. Theoretically, this study enriches insights into customers behavior in the digital era coffee industry.
