Bullying is one form of aggressive behavior with the power that is being done repeatedly with the aim of disturbing other children or victims who are weaker than it is. Bullying has become a hot social topic of late these days when more cases of bullying are happening. The purpose of this study is to explain empirically the effect of workplace bullying on job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and turnover intention with strain mediation. Objects studied are manufacturing companies employees in the city of Batam. The method used in the research by distributing questionnaires to employees. Data processing techniques using PLS‐SEM analysis by evaluating the Outer and In‐Model Models. The results of this study are consistent with previous research, which states that bullying work has an influence on job satisfaction, organizational commitment and intersection‐ mediated intentions. Translated is the workplace of bullying has an influence on job satisfaction, organizational commitment and intent rotation mediated by strain variables.Item Analisis Pengaruh Budaya Organisasi Dan Gaya Kepemimpinan Terhadap Kepuasan Kinerja Karyawan(Politeknik Negeri Batam, 2013-07-02) Anggraini, Ria; Darmawan, ArifQuality of human resources will be met if job satisfaction as elements that affect the performance can be created perfectly. This study to examine the influence of organizational culture and leadership style on job satisfaction and employee performance. The population was Batam Polytechnic academic staff by 95 people. The influence of organizational culture, leadership style, job satisfaction and employee performance is a variable that will be tested in this study. Analysis tools used in this study is Path Analysis. The analysis showed that the significant negative effect of organizational culture on job satisfaction, leadership style significant positive effect on job satisfaction, organizational culture significant negative effect on employee performance, leadership style significantly negative effect on employee performance, job satisfaction significant positive effect on employee performance and style leadership significant positive effect on organizational culture.Item Pengaruh Kepemimpinan Transformasional Terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Dan Komitmen Organisasional Karyawan Pada Praktisi Akuntansi Di Batam(Politeknik Negeri Batam, 2015-07-08) Sari, Wenda Purnama; Setianto, Adi IrawanThe purpose of this study was to examine the effect of eachs variable, transformational leadership (X), job satisfaction (Y1), organizational commitment (Y2) of accounting practitioners in Batam. Samples in this study of 45 respondents and this study used quantitative approach with questionnaires method by using simple random sampling technique. The research using program SPSS 16.0. The research were obtained transformational leadership variables positif and significantly influence job satisfaction of accounting practitioners in Batam. Variable transformational leadership also positif and significantly influence organizational commitment of accounting practitioners in Batam. The author argues for the next study is expected to add criteria and other indicators are not discussed in this study. Subsequent research can also extend the sample population to other organizations with different fields.Item Pengaruh Imbalan Dan Motivasi Terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Karyawan (Studi Empiris Pada Perusahaan Manufaktur Di Batam)(Politeknik Negeri Batam, 2015-08-26) Hidayati, Nurul; Septiari, DoviThis study aims to identify and analyze employee satisfaction Manufacturing Company in Batam. Relative to the how employees can work as well as possible and employees have a high motivation to finish the job with the reward. This study aims to demonstrate the significant effect of reward and motivation on employee job satisfaction. In analyzing the data used descriptive analysis that shows the distribution of items of each variable, and multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing. From the results of testing with multiple linear regression and regression analysis showed that the variable remuneration and motivation to job satisfaction indicated by the value of R Square is equal to 0.621. This figure shows that the variable remuneration and motivation that are used in the regression equation is to contribute to job satisfaction 62% while the remaining 38% is influenced by other variables. Based on the results of this study concluded that the rewards and motivation significant and positive impact on job satisfaction of employees in Manufacturing Company in Batam.Item Pengaruh Gaya Kepemimpinan Transaksional Terhadap Komitmen Organisasi Dan Kepuasan Kerja Pada Perusahaan Manufaktur Di Batam(Politeknik Negeri Batam, 2015-07-13) Marbun, Esra; Setianto, Adi IrawanThis research is about the impact of Transactional Leadership Style to Organizational Commitment and Job Satisfaction in manufacturing companies in Batam. The transactional leadership style stated in three characteristics: contingent reward, management by exception (active), management by exception (passive). The commitment stated in three characteristics: affective commitment, continuance commitment, and normative commitment .And job satisfaction stated in five characteristics: Employee, salary, promotion, supervision, and co-workers. Respondents in this study were 395 permanent employees who worked at manufacturing company in Batam. After examined the hypotheses used SPSS 20, this are the results of hypotheses: there is positive and significant effect between transactional leadership style to organizational commitment and there is positive and significant effect between transactional leadership style to job satisfaction. Is variable tested one by one, used simple linear analysis. This study is limited to permanent employee of manufacturing company in Batam, then for subsequent studies recommended to use sample from other types of company or other regional company.Item Pengaruh Kompensasi Dan Gaya Kepemimpinan Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Dengan Kepuasan Kerja Sebagai Variabel Intervening(Politeknik Negeri Batam, 2015-06-18) Tobiona, Yovita Luishinta; Darmawan, ArifHuman resources is a company’s very valuable asset that should always be kept level of satisfaction to improve their performance. This study aims to determine the effect of financial compensation, non-financial compensation and transformational leadership on employee performance through job satisfaction as an intervening variable in the 395 permanent employees who work at manufacturing companies in Batam as respondents. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis, path analysis and Sobel test to test the effect of intervening variable. This study found that job satisfaction can indirectly affect the relationship between financial compensation, non-financial compensation and transformational leadership on employee performance. This result illustrate that the performance of employees will increase as improved job satisfaction, so it is important for the company to pay more attention to the policy of compensation and the applicatioミ of good leadership so that the employee’s satisfaction is always maintained.Item Pengaruh Motivasi Kerja, Kepuasan Gaji, Turnover Intention Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Pada Perusahaan Fabrikasi Dibatam(Politeknik Negeri Batam, 2015-06-11) Ridhowati, Dhini Puji; Wibowo, Seto Sulaksono AdiThis research intends to review of the influence of work motivation, satisfaction salary, turnover intention of employee performance. In 20015 we have done especially to factory company in batam with collect the data questionnairefrom employee of engineering department. This research has been tested with realibility and validity test, classical assumption test and multiple regression analysis test. The result of this research work motivation has positif impact and significant toward employee performance, statisfaction salary has negative impact and insignificant toward employee performance, turnover intention has positif impact and significant toward work performance. The limitation of the research is many companies is opened only for manufacturing sector basically in factory, some companies one turn away to the survey and some of thethem return the questionnaire so that influence of this data analysis. This research was conducted at the manufacturing company in Batam, respondents in this study is that financial managers are permanent employees. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis. Results from this study showed that customer perspective and internal business process perspective has a positive and significant relationship to job satisfaction managers, whereas the perspective of learning & growth and communication strategy does not have a positive and significant relationship to job satisfaction managers. Results of this study illustrate that the manager has not been fully focused on non-financial characteristics to make decisions that can improve job satisfaction have not been fully manager. This study was limited to financial managers who are permanent employees in manufacturing companies in Batam, so further research is recommended to use a sample of the types of other companies or companies in other regions.
